Our goal is to use speeches and feedback amongst our members to help each other grow and develop as public speakers. The group is open to anyone who is interested.
We meet once a week for an hour. Meetings involve a few members giving prepared speeches, impromptu speeches and feedback/suggestions. In general, we're people that realize that presentation and speaking skills are great tools for success and are working together to improve our abilities in these areas.
Guests are welcomed to attend a few meetings at no charge. Our next meeting will be Thursday, February 1st, 12PM in Bentall Four in the Absolute Software office (1055 Dunsmuir street, suite 14). In this session, we will be conducting an InfoSession/Q&A on Pathways-the new Toastmasters leadership track. If you'd like to attend and see what we are about, or have any questions please feel free to contact for details.
Distinguished Toastmaster Frank Coldicott recently returned from a visit with his daughter in Australia. While he was there, father and daughter, both wood crafters, designed and constructed homemade Adroinnock chairs. While Frank’s daughter is still exploring her abilities, Frank said he was most content to stand back, guide and fill the gaps in her training.
Much like he has done for our Morningstars Toastmasters club on the Sunshine Coast in Gibsons, British Columbia and many clubs across British Columbia, Canada.
Visit Declarations for SUCCESS Toastmasters and see how our community club can help you enhance your self-confidence and build the speaking and leadership skills needed to achieve your goals.
At our meeting, you will see how our warm, supportive atmosphere and self-directed programs enable our members to achieve their communications and leadership goals. You will also see how our collaborative approach and progressive programs enable our members to reach a level of excellence in speaking skills that is far beyond what is typically achieved in multi-thousand dollar seminars and courses (by comparison, Declarations Toastmasters dues are less than the cost of buying a latte before every meeting).
Our club's commitment to growing our members' communication and leadership skills has been integral to our success. By pairing new members with experienced public speaking mentors, new starts at the Declarations Toastmasters Club have the opportunity to jump start their progress.

With around 60 members striving to improve their speaking skills, the Vancouver Toastmasters Club (#59) is a group of people supporting each other as we navigate our way through the speech projects of our Toastmasters manuals. Gradually, each of us gets better week by week as we take small steps towards speaking confidently in front of a group.
We welcome new members who share a desire to improve their public speaking skills, reach personal goals, and help others gain confidence. Guests are welcome to attend our meetings any time to learn more about the Toastmaster experience.
